Thank you for considering one of our puppies for your furever home. We take pride in breeding healthy, happy puppies. All breeding adults are DNA health tested to help ensure healthy puppies.
1. HEALTH CERTIFICATE
Each puppy comes with a Certificate of Health issued by a licensed veterinarian. Puppies have been examined, vaccinated as age appropriate, and dewormed prior to placement.
1. GENETIC HEALTH GUARANTEE
The breeder guarantees that the puppy is free from hereditary genetic defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. If a licensed veterinarian determines that the puppy has a hereditary genetic defect within this period, the breeder will provide a replacement puppy of equal value upon return of the affected puppy and supporting veterinary documentation.
1. VETERINARY EXAMINATION
The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving the puppy. If a serious health concern is identified during this examination, the puppy may be returned with veterinary documentation for a full refund.
1. NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy prior to pickup. The deposit will be applied toward the final purchase price of the puppy.
1. RETURN OF PUPPY
If at any time the buyer is unable to care for the puppy, the puppy must be returned to the breeder at no cost to the breeder. The puppy may not be sold, surrendered to a shelter, rescue organization, humane society, or any other third party without the breeder's written consent.
1. HYPOGLYCEMIA, NEGLIGENCE, AND INJURY
Yorkshire Terriers and other toy breeds may be susceptible to hypoglycemia. If the puppy suffers from hypoglycemia and does not receive appropriate veterinary care, this health guarantee shall be void. This agreement does not cover illnesses, injuries, or conditions resulting from neglect, abuse, accidents, improper care, or failure to follow veterinary recommendations. Any injury occurring after the puppy leaves the breeder's care voids all guarantees provided under this agreement.
1. PURCHASE PRICE
The breeder and buyer agree that:
a. The deposit shall be applied toward the final purchase price of the puppy.
b. The remaining balance is due at the time the puppy is received by the buyer.
